Hi, I’m Lauren! I am an NYC based grad student and aspiring communications professional.

I graduated from University of Oregon with bachelors of arts degrees in Public Relations and Psychology. As a student at the School of Journalism and Communication, I worked at their center of Science Communication Research, focused on evidence-based communication. I align my background in PR and Psychology to help research how to best disseminate information to the public.

I am a strong communicator who builds meaningful relationships and connections with others. I hope to align communication efforts with broader business objectives in order to build authentic connections with target audiences.

During an internship opportunity I had in Barcelona, Spain. I gained an appreciation for the ways communication strategies can bridge gaps between cultures and enhance professional and personal relationships. I was also awarded with the Seal of Global Engagement from the University of Oregon Schnitzer School of Global Studies.

I am eager to explore the different areas of communication. I look forward to sharing my learnings and insight as I grow to be a competent future professional!
